Olini Cold-Pressed Black Cumin Oil is made from the seeds of black cumin (Nigella sativa) - it takes 10 kg of seeds to press just 1 liter of oil. The producer uses a proprietary blend of Indian black cumin seeds, milder in flavor than the pure Polish variety, which makes it easier for children to enjoy as well. The oil is unrefined and cold-pressed, so it retains the full range of natural components - including the characteristic sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

The oil's composition was tested by the Institute of Food Technology and Analysis at the Lodz University of Technology - using the UHPLC-DAD method, it confirmed 9.6 mg/ml of thymoquinone, a compound characteristic of black cumin seeds. Over 83% of the oil's composition is unsaturated fatty acids - mainly linoleic acid (omega-6) and oleic acid (omega-9). Linoleic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels - the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10 g of this acid. There are many risk factors for heart disease, and changing just one of them may bring a beneficial effect.

Suggested use

Storage

Before opening, store in a cool, shaded place - the dark bottle protects the oil from light. After opening, keep refrigerated and seal tightly, as contact with air speeds up oxidation.
